Hei! My name is Lauris. I am a freelance videographer currently based in the heart of Norwegian fjords. I love capturing nature, it gives sense of timelessness but in contrary, I also love extreme sports, adventures and contemporary experiments. I guess it all boils down to creativity, vision and challenge myself what can be done with camera to elevate and share the story.

My signature is experience as outdoor and nature guide in mountains, glaciers, fjords and arctic environment helps me to understand risks and solve problems in the field to keep equipment running and get footage I need without fuzz.

In my work I often use cinema drones which is large part of what I’m known for. I like to give dimensions or unique perspectives. Also action and 360 cameras sometimes gets useful in production. For last 5 years I have developed interest into documentary style filmmaking but have experience in shooting extreme sport festivals (Ekstremsportveko), shoots for adventure tourism companies, aftermovies of events, real estate and other industries.

I believe in keeping things simple, tidy, smart and human-like. Especially in today’s world with AI and fast fashion and quick dopamine triggers. My projects starts with listening and ends with something we're proud to share. In the same time I like to keep things open and leave room for adjustments on the go as often most spontaneous ideas turns into something long lasting and impactful.

I also do photo shoots, short form videos, training materials and aftermovies.

Amongst other tools I hold A1/A3 and A2 drone license and have all necessary registrations and insurance for safe aerial commercial shoots.
